Princeton Review Tutor Training Program - How Can It Benefit Students?
Princeton Review Tutor Training Program - How Can It Benefit Students?Princeton Review Tutor Training is the first of its kind to utilize a multi-format approach for evaluating tutors. The design focuses on providing a balanced assessment of tutors and their ability to impart quality and help students with their studies. Utilizing both traditional and Internet based assessments, the creation of the program allows for a number of more options when evaluating tutors. One of the major points for students is that the tutors will not be called upon to answer any type of questions other than those specified. This program is designed to help students be better prepared for college or a career by avoiding the use of classroom instruction. The program will also eliminate the use of a single instructor and evaluate many different types of tutors. The biggest benefits are that each student will have a very unique set of tests, tests that address specific content areas, and that different types o f students will get a more specific assessment. For students who find themselves tested for certain courses or subjects, the process allows them to take those tests, but also to have an idea of what kinds of questions are coming up on future tests. One of the biggest challenges for the Princeton Review Tutor Training program will be providing a rigorous learning experience while still keeping the practical application as easy as possible. A lot of students find it difficult to be comfortable and confident in the actual classroom environment. The entire purpose of the program is to make the program as enjoyable as possible while still making the assessment of tutors simple. This new multi-platform evaluation means that students will not have to worry about what is to come and how they will do.In addition to the results of the evaluations for student's grades, this program is also designed to address the impact that the various courses a student chooses to take will have on their learn ing and ability to succeed in the classroom. The program allows students to review their course selection to see how they can be the best fit for their needs. The Princeton Review Tutor Training program is an important component to getting a better grasp on what it means to be a successful teacher and to how students are performing in the classroom. It is a step that can help students become more well rounded individuals while at the same time improving their chances at success. The fact that it will be used by many students around the country is proof that this is a worthwhile and valuable initiative. In addition to evaluating tutors, the program offers information about how to become the best candidate for a teaching position. This is the first time that anyone has offered such a comprehensive approach to assessing the qualities of instructors, which should make the program even more useful for those looking to enter the profession. The Princeton Review Tutor Training system has prov en to be very successful as a marketing tool. Taking the right approach for evaluating tutors can help those in the field in general to improve their ability to become effective teachers while meeting students' needs.

Begin early, prepare carefully, and learn everything you can about the exam.Beginning your preparation for the SAT doesn't need to be overwhelming. Taking the time now to do your research and plan your preparation will pay off in the long run. There are five easy steps to follow before SAT registration: 1. Check your calendar The SAT is offered on seven different testing dates each school year. The testing dates for 2013-2014 are October 5, 2013 November 2, 2013 December 7, 2013 January 25, 2014 March 8, 2014 May 3, 2014 June 7, 2014 Before you choose your testing date take the time to review your calendar. Evaluate which testing date is best for you by considering your family, school, and extracurricular schedules. For example, if you are committed to an athletic team, school club, or musical ensemble during the winter months it may be beneficial to wait to take the SAT exam until one of the spring testing dates. You should also determine if this year's coursework will have an impact on your overall knowledge and skills. Will your courses this year better prepare you for the SAT? You may want to wait until these courses are complete before you take the exam.2. Find your testing center There are hundreds of testing centers across the country. Before you register for the SAT exam spend time determining which testing center is best for you. Consult an area map for the testing centers that are closest to you and which testing center is the most convenient. Many students choose to stay at their own high school for th e SAT exam, if possible, because of the familiarity of the campus.3. Know what is allowed The SAT has strict limitations regarding what is allowed in testing centers and what specific items and behaviors are prohibited. Don't be caught off guard and risk both your careful preparation and your score. The SAT website details the specific requirements for all students taking the test and what is allowed on exam day. 4. Bringing Up a Child to Become a Leader
Bringing Up a Child to Become a Leader In todays world, the conditions of competition, for many parents is to want their child to stand out from the middle peasant by a bright personality as a leader. With this image they associate many expectations. There is an idea from which leaders can earn a lot by achieving success in life and have access to all the benefits. Somehow miraculously they are doing well in the family and in their careers. This is the best future that parents wish for their children. It helps to figure out how to make the leader out of the child, and, it ensures success is guaranteed to him. Therefore, here is the complete appropriate procedure to rise a leader in your child: From the Beginning There are several pitfalls on this good path, and if you basically think about how to raise a child successfully and not happy, you may have fallen into one of them. Most often this trap of their ambitions. Therefore, the parents who have not achieved the life success that they thought for themselves, often overload this task on the child .They do not take into account its propensities and resources, impose their will, and together with it a hundred developing circles from early childhood. Often already to school, these children experience an overload and they begin to have problems with the assimilation of information, even if before they had good data. The child becomes distracted and inattentive, refuses to engage at all or begins to often get sick. He seems to be dumb, parents are horrified, and their plan for intensive development for the next five years melts along with the image of a successful son or daughter. Let us reformulate for the use of the business. The id ea of ??making a leader out of a child it gives fanaticism, while developing leadership qualities in it is reasonable and useful. You can distinguish three key qualities of a leader that can and should be educated in a child: Initiative Responsibility Planning time and goals Bonus can be said about such a skill as the desire to exceed standards. Initiative Leaders can differ from ordinary people in that they do not swim with the flow, but themselves rule their destiny. One of the main qualities to make life as you want is initiative. Initiative can and should be encouraged from an early age. Its formation begins with the fact that you support the childs impulses to do something on your own: dress, sweep the floor, and go to the store- attention- even if it seems to you that he will cope with the task badly. Encourage important any attempts, regardless of the result, which they brought. At such moments, keep in focus that you develop quality in the child initiative, and do not teach it a specific skill: clean sweep or immaculately nail the nail. Mastering a skill is a separate process and you can return to it at another time. With the initiative this does not work you either support the momentum here and now, or suppress it, and with it the desire of the child to manifest itself in general. Support the initiative of the child and provide instructions: how it works, what options can be and how to do it optimally. Together, discuss the result and say that the next time you can add to get better. Responsibility for selection That the child has learned to bear responsibility it is necessary for him to transfer this responsibility. Responsibility always goes bundled with a choice. What does this mean? To demand responsibility from the child is possible only for those decisions which he has chosen independently. The algorithm for creating such a liability is as follows: In the first step, we give the child options: Are you going to be ice cream right now or in the evening? Are we going to the park or to the playground? In the second step, we explain what each option will follow: You can eat your ice cream now but then in the evening, when we eat everything together, your portion will not be there anymore. To be responsible for the chosen solution means to cope with the consequences of your choice. (Here it is important for parents to be consistent and to act according to the proposed scenario) In the third step, we explain to the child how to deal with the consequences of the choice that he made: If you are offended and sad in the evening while others are eating ice cream tell your friends that you ate your portion at daytime and call them to play with you sooner. Constructive sequence is mentioned below: we accept honesty if the child confesses we discuss why it happened, what motives, intentions we say how to eliminate the consequences send the child to eliminate the consequences responsibility Planning Absolutely accurately formed leadership skill is the planning of time. Its great if the parents themselves have this habit in this case the child adopts it organically and without special efforts. The most familiar and affordable option in time planning is the scheduling of the day. What is important are mentioned below: 1. Make a schedule with the child, discuss how much time it will take, what to include in the plan necessarily, and what is optional. 2. Do not make a rigid per-minute sect. It is enough to prescribe the sequence of actions and to designate check-points fixed points: the time of the beginning of classes, circles, going to sleep and so on. 3. On weekends, talk to your child about the plan for the day: what and when you want to do, so that from the very morning he had a basic picture of the day, or better both days off. 4. Give the child a simple mechanical timer teach him to pinpoint time, how much he spends on this or that thing. This is a great help in time management and self-discipline. Agree on an approximate amount of time for each case. I began to do my homework 30 minutes. I sat down to play fixed an hour. Time is up the timer has rung a signal to change activities. Here an important point: the timer should really be mechanical, and not built into the phone or tablet. Do not exacerbate the attachment to gadgets. Planning goals is a task that can be put to children, starting from 10-12 years. Before undertaking any business, say what result you would like to receive. As in all other qualities, this is the case when children ideally learn from their parents. The characteristic of a leader as the desire to exceed the standards Pay attention to the childs ability to perform some tasks (those that seem interesting to him), especially well, above the standard requirements. Consider here two points: It is important to choose the tasks that are really of particular interest to your child. It is important to stimulate it to show creativity, when the average result is achieved, ask questions, come up with: how it could be improved-deepened, making the result more interesting. Imperative steps for educating a leader Parents, of course, need to lay the resource of forces and time on special attention to the formation of these qualities in the child. Keep in mind, the best thing is that children learn by observing their parents: effective, who value and rationally use their time, plan and achieve the goal. Education of these qualities may not make the child a superman, but will definitely help him in solving life problems. Provided that in the first place parents accept and unconditionally love their child, and only in the second that they bring up.

ITSW is the only school in the area to offer a curriculum in 3 different languages.Depending on the age of the students and the campus we offer instruction in three main language combinations: -English, Polish and French -English, Polish and Spanish -English, Polish and Mandarin -French, English and Polish Students attending The International Trilingual School of Warsaw, are emerged in 3 languages. This means they learn subject matter in 3 different languages, essentially as native speakers. This opens doors for them beyond anybodys imagination. A student graduation from The International Trilingual School of Warsaw, can continue his/her studies in any system, in any country because, our curriculum is based on 5 different educational systems. The American Curriculum, the Finnish Curriculum, the British Curriculum, the Polish Curriculum, the French Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Curriculum. We took the best from each of these curricula, and professionally created a curriculum that makes all other schools envious. It is a rigorous and demanding curriculum that challenges students to rise above the rest and become the best version of themselves they can be. In the nursery and preschool curriculum is proportionally taught in three languages but following common standards. In the primary school some subjects are taught trilingually and some bilingually. All of our teaching and classroom support staff are qualified, experienced and hold a recognized university degree in their chosen field as well as an appropriate teaching qualification. Most have previously taught in the international education system and all are involved in regular professional development. Thanks to our low student to teacher ratio, ITSW teachers are able to adapt their methods and teaching styles to suit the needs of individual pupils. They also maintain incentive schemes to ensure that students of all ages remain highly motivated in both their academic work and other activities View our Brochure

Are you better at keeping commitments to others than you - Introvert Whisperer
Introvert Whisperer / Are you better at keeping commitments to others than you - Introvert Whisperer Are you better at keeping commitments to others than you? For a lot of people, itâs way too easy to blow off the important things we need or want to do for us. With things like work and family, you have a âbuilt-inâ accountability structure. The people in those groups expect you do fulfill your commitments and for a variety of good reasons, you tend to keep those commitments. The reason a commitment to you is so easy to blow off is that an accountability structure is missing. In fact, we have had teams of scientists and doctors study the problem with change. They know that only about 20-30% of all changes are done independently or without someone else in mix. The rest donât get done. And it doesnât matter if the change is a matter of life or death, people behave the same. You would think if there was a good reason like your life hanging on a change, youâd do it â" but thatâs not the case. What does that mean to us? It means most all of us need some type of accountability and when itâs not âbuilt-inâ you have to create it. We can create accountability a number of different ways: Remind yourself = put a sticky note or reminder to do something in a good place like your calendar Create an obligation with your commitment = sign up for something to nudge you Ask for accountability = you see this with things like work out buddies but you could do this with anything Seek professional accountability = pay someone to keep you accountable and to work through your process with you, this is like a personal trainer or a coach like me You will notice that with the 4 things I outlined, you eventually were engaging another person and usually that is the most effective. Itâs also a form of support and we can all use some on certain things. Moral of this story: If you believe you miss too many commitments to yourself, consider putting some of these items in place to help you create more accountability.
